Both Dale Earnhardt and Kevin Harvick drove RCR Chassis No. 66 to top10 finishes on road courses. Earnhardt qualified twenty-ninth and drove a strong race to finish sixth in 2000 at Sears Point Raceway. The next year, Harvick qualified tenth and finished tenth in his first NASCAR Winston Cup race at Watkins Glen International, despite fading brakes in the final laps. The Watkins Glen race was the fourth and final time the car competed.
