The paint scheme for The Winston Select in 1996, designed by renowned motorsports artist Sam Bass, was in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the Modern Olympic Games held that year in Atlanta. Dale Earnhardt started second, finished 12th in the first segment, first in the second segment and third in final segment.
