This car competed in 10 NASCAR Winston Cup events, earning a pole in its September 1995 debut at Richmond International Raceway and a victory three weeks later at Martinsville Speedway. Overall, the car earned five top-5 and six top-10 finishes before being painted in the Bass Pro Shops paint scheme for The Winston in 1998. The all-star race for Dale Earnhardt and the GM Goodwrench Service Plus team lasted only nine laps before getting caught up in an accident when another car's engine blew up ahead of him.
