Caterpillar and RCR
The 2009 season will mark Caterpillar’s 12th year in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Caterpillar and Cat Financial will be the new primary sponsor of the No. 31 Chevrolet driven by Jeff Burton. Caterpillar will sponsor 33 of 36 Sprint Cup races. Caterpillar has sponsored teams in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Truck Series and has a win at the 2002 Daytona 500.
